Hay, We had some special guests visit the Wagon Yard and we wanted tell everyone about it. Sloppy Tiger from Ms. Irwin’s first grade class and a few of her students have stopped in.  Sloppy Tiger came in with Ben Thompson and had a great time.

Ben and Sloppy Tiger visit with Ben's grandpa Rich (the owner)

He had a chat with the owner (Ben’s Grandpa.)

Then he checked out the great kids menu with Ben

…and snuck into the back to check out the ribs.

We had to hustle him out because tigers aren’t allowed behind the counter unless they wear a hair net. We had a great time visiting with Ben and Sloppy Tiger and we love to meet Sloppy’s friends.  Please be sure to let us know you are Sloppy Tiger’s friend when you stop in.  If our photographer is in, we will take your photo and put it up here for you to check out.  Just click the comments to see who has visited us so far.

If you have any doubt about the credibility of these claims, just ask the locals.  Here’s what they are saying…

“Talk about Good BBQ, WOW! If you haven’t been east of Springfield to the Wagon Yard BBQ ya’ll are missing out on some very good BBQ fixens.  I’m from Eastern New Mexico near TX border and have ate in many a BBQ place out there and Wagon Yard is as good as the best in the South and now that I’m an Oregonian I’m lucky enough to have the South type BBQ and home made desserts served right here.  Thank Rich for some great food.”     Jerry Hamlin

“Rich, Good luck with the Wagon Yard.  His rack of ribs are the best I have ever had.”    John Wells

“I was Rich’s First customer! I have been out to the Wagon Yard many times and the food is to die for. The ribs just melt in your mouth. This is a must visit BBQ place.”    Terry C.

“For those who think they know BBQ will be mighty surprised to find Wagon Yard “Texas” style BBQ the best taste around, big portions; friendly service, you will want to come back.”     M. D. Snell

The bottom line is if you wanna eat some of the most delicious BBQ anywhere, find your way to the Wagon Yard and enjoy Texas BBQ in the beautiful mountains of Oregon.

Welcome to the Wagon Yard BBQ blog.
